1. Back-cross breeding combined with molecular marker selection was taken to transfer Pm genes such as Pm13, Pm21, Pm30 and Pm33 to Zheng 9023 which is now widely-used. Lines and NILs of Zheng 9023 resistant against powdery mildew were obtained.
2. The fructose content in the grains of Zhengmai 9023 peaked within 6 days after anthesis, then dropped gradually, while for Yumai 50 and Wenmai 4 peaked within 6 days, then dropped sharply and the rose slightly within 24 days after anthesis.
3. Ningmai 9 had the best general comibining ability and unproved significantly the HI in its crossing progeny. The inheritance of HI fit in with the additive dominance model, controlled by both additive and dominant genetic effects. The degree of dominance was from complete dominance to superdominance. The increasing alleles were dominant for HI. In the freqoency distribution of increasing or reducing alleles among 8 parents, there was no significant difference. Yangmai 9 and Zheng 9023 had the most dominant genes controlling HI. The HI could be controlled by one pair of major dominant genes with higher narrow sense heritability.
4. The results indicated that Zhengmai 9694 had preferable steamed bread-making quality. With the added Zhengmai 9023 the proportion of the increase will enable the specific volume of steamed bread, aspect ratio, internal structure, flexibility, toughness, stickiness and taste scores increased, scores a certain improve, but the addition of Zhengmai 9023 more than after a certain proportion of bread specific volume, internal structure and flexibility scores were also dropped.
5. Zhengmai 9023 is a main high quality wheat cultivar in Henan.

With three wheat varieties of Zhengmai 9023, Yumai 18 and Zhoumai 16 as materials, effects of As stress on seed germination and seedling growth, and changes of As content in sprout and root of seedlings were studied with stresses of different concentrations of As in water cultivating experiments. At the same time, differences among these wheat varieties were analyzed.
7. In order to understand the chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics of wheat cultivars with different quality at grain filling stage, Yumai 50, Zhengmai 9023 and Wenmai 4 were adopted in this experiment. In the field condition, the changes of LAI, chlorophyll content and chlorophyll fluorescence kinetics parameters in flag leaf were investigated after anthesis.
8. The total soluble sugar content in Zhengmai 9023 peaked within 6 days and 18 days after anthesis, and the first peak was much higher than the second, while Yumai 50 and Wenmai 4 peaked within 12 days after anthesis.
9. Result showed that, the total soluble sugar and sucrose content in flag leaf in Wenmai 4 and Yumai 50 were higher than that in Zhengmai 9023, and the activities of sucrose and sucrose-phosphate activity in flag leaf showed the same dynamic trend during filling stage.
10. To Zhengmai 9023 and Yumai 18, the seed vitality was higher, the seedling development was faster, and the As resistance was weaker; to Zhoumai 16, the seed vitality was lower, the seedling development was slower, and the As resistance was stronger.
11. The activity of ADP glucose pyrophorylase in three varieties with different gluten types peaked within 18 days after anthesis. The activities of UDP glucose pyrophorylase and soluble syntheses in the grains of Wenmai 4 peaked respectively within 12 days and 18 days after anthesis, while for Yumai 50 and Zhengmai 9023 peaked respectively within 18 days and 12 days after anthesis.
12. The content MDA and H2O2, the activity of SOD and CAT in the leaf of Zhengmai 9023 (drought-vulnerable wheat variety) and Changwu134 (drought resistant wheat variety) which applied by difference quantity nitrogenous manure have investigated under field.
13. GS activity in flag leaf and grain was showed gradually down trend with promoting of grain filling process.
14. The ecological footprints per 104 yuan of nature reserve was 2.0797hm~2, higher than the 1.9023hm~2 of Gansu province in 2009, this showed that the resource utilization efficiency in nature reserve were lower than the average level of Gansu Province.
